Return to the Red Fox Inn
On October 20, 2013, 80 lucky music fans will have a unique opportunity to return to the Red Fox Inn -- DC's hottest bluegrass night club of the 1970s. The Bethesda restaurant was the original home of the Seldom Scene. Join John Starling, Ben Eldridge, Tom Gray, Dudley Connell and the rest of the current band (Fred Travers, Lou Reid, Ronnie Simpkins) for a rare evening of music, stories and laughs at the club's original location. Tickets are $150 and include appetizers, dinner and dessert. Cash Bar will be available. A silent auction will be conducted throughout the evening. All proceeds will benefit the nonprofit DC Bluegrass Union.
Schedule for the Event:
4:00 – 5:30 p.m. – Reception/Socializing and Cash Bar
5:45 – 7:00 p.m. – Dinner is served (main course about 6 p.m.)
7:00 – 8:15 p.m. – Music provided by The Seldom Scene
8:45 p.m. – Silent Auction Ends
8:30 – 9:30 p.m. – Post-concert socializing, cash bar and silent auction winners announced.
